Nose/ cheek/ lip augmentation with fillers

Dermal fillers are frequently used in our practice to enhance or build up nose bridges, refine flared nostrils or reshape the tip of the nose. They are also useful for filling out the lips, reducing crows’ feet, wrinkles around the lips, nose and mouth, and lines on the cheeks and forehead. They can also plump out hollow cheeks, reshape the chin, or fill acne scars.

Treatment takes about 15 to 20 minutes, and many people go straight back to work afterwards.

 juvederm (FDA Approved)

Juvéderm® is a smooth consistency gel made of hyaluronic acid (HA) — a naturally occurring substance in your skin that helps to add volume and hydration. It is HA filler approved by the FDA to last up to one year.

JUVÉDERM VOLUMA™ XC injectable gel with Lidocaine for pain relief is intended to restore volume of the face lost due to aging and is suitable for deeper injections. It gives you a subtle lift, helping to restore contour and a more youthful profile, for up to 2 years.

JUVÉDERM™ Ultra Plus XC injectable gel with Lidocaine for pain relief is a colorless hyaluronic acid gel that is injected into facial tissue to smooth moderate to severe wrinkles and folds, especially around the nose and mouth. It is intended for use for filling mid and/or deep depressions of the skin via mid and/or deep dermis injection. Most patients need one treatment to achieve optimal wrinkle smoothing, and the results last about 1 year.

JUVÉDERM™ Ultra XC injectable gel with Lidocaine for pain relief temporarily adds volume to facial tissue and restores a smoother appearance to the face. It is designed to for filling medium-sized depressions of the skin via mid-dermis injections. Most patients need one treatment to achieve optimal wrinkle smoothing, and the results last about 9 months to 1 year.

JUVÉDERM™ Refine is the lightest HA formulation under the Juvederm brand, aimed at enhancing the skin’s moisture retention capability by superficial injections of hyaluronic acid (HA) into the skin, an ideal product for people who desire a firmer face with reduced fine lines but want a longer lasting result as compared to topical facial treatments.

NEW JUVÉDERM™ VOLIFT® with Lidocaine, the latest addition to the Juvéderm range of hyaluronic acid (HA) dermal fillers is now available in our clinic. Designed for facial contouring and the treatment of deep skin depressions such as nasolabial folds, Juvéderm VOLIFT with Lidocaine provides a new treatment option estimated to deliver smooth, long-lasting results for up to 15 months.

Over time, the cheeks, chin and jawline area can be impacted by the natural ageing process: a loss of volume or definition, and the appearance of ‘static’ wrinkles such as deeper nasolabial folds are among the key ageing concerns. Juvéderm VOLIFT with Lidocaine is designed to smooth deep wrinkles for a refreshed look, as well as gently restoring natural-looking contours in the lower face.

This new addition to Allergan’s next-generation dermal filler range has been developed using VYCROSS™ technology, which uses an innovative combination of low and high molecular weight HA to improve the cross-linking efficiency of HA chains. This more effective cross-linking allows for a lower concentration of HA to be used, delivering an ultra-smooth gel for a natural look and feel, minimal swelling and bruising, as well as improved duration.

NEW JUVÉDERM™ Volbella with Lidocaine, created specifically for the lips utilises patented Vycross  technology which, through more efficient crosslinking, produces greater lift capacity and longer lasting results. In fact, a company-led study found that over 90% of test patients reported natural looking lips with more than 80% of them still satisfied with their results after one year. Having such a high satisfactory rate after such a long period of time is something to smile about: Previous lip fillers typically last up to 6 months, before your body breaks it up, leaving you with a deflated pout.
